V6 Wheels

Just checking but would a set of 17" wheels with the correct offset fit a MK2 V6?? And are the widths on a Mk1 8" on the front and 9" on the back?? Thanks in advance.

its 7 x 17 on the front and 8.5 x 17 on the back, tyres are 205 50 and 235 45.

not sure but the wheels would probably fit.

wheels will fit but front track will be 25mm narrower - correctable with spacers if you wish

Thats unusual for someone with a MK2 V6 wanting smaller wheels?

ive got loads of cheap V6 wheels for MK1 V6s if anyones interested

Im looking at a set of wheels at the moment that I can use for track days. Theyre 17" BBSs which I figures would be ideal for the job as long as the offsets are o.k. So from what Mike said, Mk1 wheels would fit a Mk2, theyd just sit 25mm further in?

The car handles better on them on track and the tyres are cheaper for track use and theyre lighter- makes a lot of sense really!!!!
