Valver dial nightmare!!!! HELP

  valver
I've fitted white dials in my valver, thought i'd plug them all in to check them before i put them in properly and the water temp sits about a quarter of the way up the scale and the fuel gauge is reading three quarters of a tank altough theres only about half a tank in it. the oil level is the same, that sits way above the max. Please help before i'm forced to get my big smashing hammer out.

Cheers

you will need some new dials

the needles are ultra sensitive and there probably f**ked now, i went through 3 sets of dials on the GTT to fit white dials properly, and they still looked crap at night after all that

chances are though, that when you put the front back on the dials its creased your new white bits up and they are catching on the needle, look at them from side on and blow the needle lightly, you will be able to tell if its catching, if its not catching the dial is buggered and will need changing

i have some valver dials with white face's, absolute nightmare, managed to eventualy get them done playing around with the needles but the petrol one is still reading 3/4 when the full is asically empty and the rev gage isnt 100% straight, everthing else works though..

im fitting blue dials im my valver today but i need to chop them about because the dials are made by sagem:(

The thing is i removed the needles in the oil temp/pressure/level pod, so i need to fit them back without them reading wrong.

probably a bit late now but it's recomended to take pics of the needle positions once you have taken the dials out before you take them apart then you got a better idea of where to put them back on.....
