Valver gear knobs

How are valver gear knobs held on? do they untwist or just pull off??!!

Need to heat them up and twist and pull them off wiht mole grips, eitrher that ur cut them off wiht a hacksaw.

They are bloody hard to get off

dont worry about heating it up, just use mole grips, i used one of those rubber grip things on mine & it came off a treat, with out ruining the gear knob.

did the same wit mine, the gearknob jus come off n i twisted the plastic bit off wit some grips.easy!!
