Valver grinding noise when turning left!

Can anyone help,

My valver is currently sitting on 17"s but when I turn left only I get a grinding noise which seems to be coming from the steering rack upwards? The camber for the front wheels is the same on both sides as I have had new shocks on as the drivers wheel was out when I bought the car. My car is going into a friends garage this week so I would like to try and give them a possible explanation then them take forever to find the problem.

Forgot to mention if you have 4 people sitting in the car it sounds loke the steering rack will snap! The car is not lowered!

Check for any rubbing when you turn the wheel is an obvous first, also check the power strearing fluid level.

Other than that i can only suggest a new rack
