Do u need a special lead to get the steering control on the column working with a kenwood head unit???

Yes i had to have a special one for my Sony headunit!!!

Doubt its the same cable tho!!!

as jay said, yes you do mate
alternatively just use the h/u like normal with out the steering column control.

i know i do that already, but its a waste of time it being there if i dont use it, i used to have a ph1 valver and that had a sony one in it and i used that all the time, shame to let it go to waste really!
