Valver mpg Vs 172 mpg

if the same driver is driving both in the same manner I'd say the more modern engine would always be more efficient.
 
The newer car should weight more (usually do) so that might even it out.
Also older engines can someotimes be less efficient than from new so a comparison is difficult.
I'm sure the Williams was advertised as 32mpg adverage MPG which is about the same as the 172.

I get average of 31-32mpg out of my cup driving pretty hard, can get 35-36 driving steady.

Had a valver before and driving it the same as cup I only got about 25 average.

Costs me about the same though as I use optimax in cup + used normal 95ron fuel in valver.

dont agree with that.

my 04 182 returns better MPG than some 05 / 55 182s I know of
