Valver not starting anymore?

Im looking at a valver that someone want's to break but I want the whole car, Problem is it's a non starter. He say's it had a blowing manifold/downpipe which took ages to source. Now he's fitted it to the car it won't start.

Any idea's?

How long has the car stood idle ???

Have you checked the obvious things like the battery charge, plugs and leads ???

Have you tried bump starting it ??? ect ???

Yeah sounds like the same person, I was intrested in buying the whole car if it wasn't a big problem.

How about lambda sensor? I thought it should still start if this is faulty/disconnected or missing, but you never know, might make sence if he has replaced the downpipe!

mine wouldnt start today i noticed it was fuses i had blown in the engine bay!!! lmao

If an engine fuse has blown, I'd try and source the problem.

If the wiring is shorting somewhere, it could be dangerous - lots of smoke involved etc.. if it shorts and the fuse doesn't go!
