Valver performance on 17's??

  Toyota MR2 Turbo Rev2
Im buying a valver and its lowered 50mm on 17's atm, but the guy selling it also has the original ph2 wheels for sale.

How much difference is there in the handling and performance between 15's and 17's?

Ive got some 40mm springs so wouldn't mind putting those on if they'd make a vast improvement over 50mm with the 17's or the 15's on the car?

What's your advise please?

Thanks in advance! :D

It will be slower on the 17's loads of people on here had valvers with 17's on, when they put the 15's back on they really noticed the difference.

I don't know about the lowerig question though, sorry.

I am one of those ppl, It handles better, is quieter &smoother, Get the ph2's off him and sell the 17s, mine is lowered 35mm and is fine on 15's (185 wide) but the 205 wide 17s scrubbed................try it with 15's at 50mm..it may be ok!
