vee speaker upgrade! help?!

Chaps, looking to upgrade the speakers in the vee...

Rears are bigger i believe...hopefully somebody will know.

I've got an AVIC Pioneer HU/Satnav thing and an Alpine underseat sub for a little base...(No a huge base fan, but i like a little punch) Came free with a set of Recaro's! LOL.

Any advice. Nothing silly money! If you're sellin a set i'd be interested too!

i recently bought these alpine speakers for the front doors in mine. Not sure if the sizes in the vee are the same as non-sports. Was suprised at the quality of sound considering they were pretty cheap.

Fronts are exactly the same, but the rears are bigger.

Highly recomend Infinity speakers Ali... were spot on in the old 172. I forgot to remove them when i sold it

who's the dude with the deep bronze vee? he had a custom speaker set up with leather covering it all on the back shelf. looked awesome, prob cost a pretty penny though

That's James (JR) car, the leather your referring to is the engine cover, it has speakers built into the front of it behind the seats

I'm told I have speakers called DLS in the front.

I had polk audio components and infinty rears, the rear set up is gash for sound quality though, a metal box going into the engine bay!

JL Audio also have good staging for stock positions. I have these all round and sound sweet running of my Pioneer.

You can fit 6.5 but it does take more work and most likely a cheeky wee mdf spacer

Just 4 speakers, HU is powerful enough for my needs and i've got the sub already!

if it's any help, we put infinities into tims vee. they are running straight off the head, and sound awesome!!
