VERY annoying squeeky steering

the steering on my dynamique has started to be really squeeky (not a constand squeek just when i start and stop turning the wheel)

i wondered if anyone had the same problem or know what it might be/possible fix

Yes I have the same problem.... tried to get renault to sort it/grease something before the warrenty ran out and they refused, saying it was my lowered suspension causing it to squeek. Its highly annoying....... so every1 pls help with cures!!

i think i had a similar problem which was cured by lubing a driveshaft seal. havent got a clue to be honest as i didnt care and wanted the car back

ive just got a clio with a momo steering wheel on and its got the same annoying squeel evertime i turn the wheel

oh well glad its not just me

wondered if it might if the suspension top mounts (doughnut things) needed lubing up (only problem is that i cant undo the top mount under the bonnet)
