what are the good and bad points of the 1999 1200cc clio?

Well a bad point is your better off buying a 1997-8 Mk1 Phase 3 1.4 Sport

Im paying 1100 FC, pass pluss , Norwich Union, 18, first car, 1.4 Sport, cos its an S its top of the range, electric windows, 3 door, RSi alloys and semi-bucket seats....



Im sure the 1.2 MK2 will be a gd first car etc but it could work out cheaper and more fun in a Mk1 Ph3.

My 1.2 is only 8v.. Mk1, Phase3 tho - Same engine as the Mk2 1.2 8v.. DIET engine.. its ok.

get a mk1 phase 3, i had a 1.2 98 for my first car, 1000 odd full comp with coop, more of a mans car than a mk2 99 clio and more fun

to be honest

the punto sporting aside it is the best engine in the class

handles much better than all of its rivals

as a 1st car it is an ideal choice

period

but the engine in the punto is better

**not a FIAT salesman, but i play football for them in a corporate league, 3 times league winners, and twice cup winners in 4 yrs**
