VIN Plate / MOT

Is this a fail? is there any way found it E.g Chassis number or some thing :-S ???

the vin is checked. it should be on a few places in the car.

It is a fail if the vin plate is not present on the vehicle!

car has Chassie number on the front strut mount. and that matches the log book
is that not enough ??

there is one to the left of the windscreen, iirc there is also one in the engine bay.

on the mk1 clio there is one on the strut turret as mentioned, so that should be fine, you might need to point it out to the tester.

o/s front headlight panel - a small tin plate pot riveted onto the metalwork - will start VF1C57 or VF1B57

ive got 1 under drivers seat aswell there is bit of carpet that lifts up and its engraved on metal
