Vinyl residue

Been stripping off old vinyl stickers today, getting them warm first then peeling off but I'm still left with a lot of residue. How can I get rid of the residue, without getting rid of the paint?

Try using abit of autoglymes tar and glue remover. It should work a treat for you as it removes the sticky pads for my plates with ease.
