I'm planning on going to see the Vulcan Flypast @ North Weald at 13:30pm.
I think some of us are going to come straight from the karting to watch it.

We will hopefully be at the Squadron Bar over on the otherside of the airfield at around 12:30-13:00.
Would be good to see some people over there.

This will be the last time you will be able to see this aircraft fly before it is retired in a few weeks time.

Should hope so it's a nippy blighter.
Unless it gets diverted to Moscow.
Heres some (not very good ) pics of XL426 at Southend.

The flight time has been brought forward by 15 mins.
I suggest for the best chance of seeing this you aim to be at North Weald for 1pm.
They take off from Doncaster at 12:50 and will be overhead at North Weald at 1:15pm.

Yeah was a at North Weald came in nice and low over the Airfield and gave a great view of the top side as it came round.
Must say North Weald was packed to the point they had to stop people coming over.

I was parked out on the grass near the entrance, she came right over head of me!

Yeah was a good. Shame she did not put on more of a show. But they had to get around the UK as much as possible.

Yeah there was a lot of people over there.
It's been quite good to see the amount of people who want to see these sort of things when they happen.
I was at Goodwood the other week for the Battle of Britain Gathering of Spitfires and Hurricanes. Goodwood expected about 3000 people to turn up.
they had 31,000 people turn out mid week for it.

The same could be said when the Concordes all landed at Heathrow one after the other in 2003 and when the Space Shuttle arrived at Stansted on the back of the 747 in the 80s.

A lot of in the closet plane spotters out there lol

I saw it twice over the weekend in the midlands, decent sight it was nice and low.
