VVT Cams without VVT

Car  Megane I 2,0 16v
Hello
is it possible to use VVT cams without dephaser, adapter ??
Looking for other cams in my turbo and its no VVT there.
Thanks

I ran 172 cams in my megane 225 engine with no issues. You do need a get a pulley machined or maybe fit some adjustables.
They have oil ways in as well which you'll need to sort out.
Not that hard but it is possible.

Did you ran custom pulley ?? or are there adjustable ones made for vvt cams ?

You can machine a spare exhaust pulley out to fit fairly trivially I believe, although I havent personally tried it.

I had these made up to remove the dephaser. Machined exhaust pulley would work too.
