Vwey Whiney Reverse & 1st

Hi.
Not had the car long and ive started to notice that its very whiney in reverse and 1st. Someone said to me do i have a supercharger in it it sound that loud. Ha

Does this mean its on its way out?? Goes into very gear fine and pulls fine.

They are all very whiney at low revs/slow speeds as standard. Even the brand new 200s are the same. Get a vid up if you can and then we can tell if it's louder than normal.

Could be dephasher needs changing, Does the whine die down after 2k revs?

No its quite on tick over its just when your moving off in rev or 1st
