Waiting for my clio!

Hey all you brand new clio owners, how long did you have to wait for your clio to arrive? Ive heard nothing from Renault (great service eh?), they said it would be about 4 weeks (its been about 5 now)

I spoke to a mate who said he had to wait almost 7 weeks for his.. is this true?

when i spoke to reno about ordering one the other day the they predicted september due to the long french summer holidays - hope yours arrives before these start

good luck mate - give em a call

at least if u get urs in sept, its the 53 reg...

6 weeks ordered in april, garage got it 31st may i got on 5th june. I got a letter a week after ordering telling me that the garage would recive it on the 30th though, when i went to pick it up, i over heard a guy telling 2 customers there was long times, he said sept!!!

Yes it is a wait. However other manufacturers have cars sitting in airfields that can supply them quicker, but do you really want that ? Look at some manufacturers offers and youll see terms and conditions such as applies to cars built before 15.1.03 - how old do you want your new car !

Maybe if Renault had the fallback of an airfield full of cars, theyd be able to spend more time building new ones without squeaks, rattles and other such "characteristics".

Thanks for the enthusiastic replies peeps - I phoned Renault today (Renault Croydon in Coulsdon (makes sense eh?)) and spoke with the very friendly Daniel whos the head salesman who sold me the car, and he said its currently in transit and i would be able to drive it away on the 13th of July.. 16 days to wait then!

Thanks guys

Only had to wait two weeks for mine because the colour I initially chose wasnt available anymore, so I picked a better colour and the car was already built so arrived really quick, probably explains the constant sunroof problems!
