Anyone have any recommendations for taking Snowboarding?

I have been looking at:

Doro WT87
Binatone Terrain 550
Motorola Talkr T5

I have 4 x Binatone Adventurer 100 walkie talkies for snowboarding. Great 3km range. Not the same as you've listed, but I'm sure they are all good.

True, but I took into account; Water damage from the snow when dropped, the chance of loosing it (would rather loose this than my phone) and the actual damage caused when falling over etc and breaking it.

Valid points. At least you know that a mobile will always be able to get through to whoever you need to reach too though.

I enjoyed collecting GPS data on mine too this year for the first time. Topped out at 80mph this year which was fun to know.

You snowboarded down a mountain at 80mph ?

Haha, nope, it is surprisingly easy to go that speed. It did make me think about investing in a helmet though...

80mph, damn, must have been straight down a black/purple run at that speed.

Seriously impressive doing 80mph on a board ! I doubt I have been above 20-25 max, but then again I'v only been boarding for a month inside xscape
