Wandering under hard accelaration :s

Basically when under hard accelaration especially 2nd & 3rd the car seems to kind of want to wonder from time to time. No I have checked everything like ball joints, track rods an tyre pressures an the wheel allignment has been set up recently using hunter laser allign system.

So basically do any of you guys have this problem?

Sometimes but for me its down to the road surface, even one wheel on a white line will make a difference. Perfectly smooth road and it's fine.

Hi,
Thats called torque steer. Differing road surfaces can cause front wheel drive cars to "tramline" ie follow a white line. I don't know the correct term for it, but we always called it tramlining. The wider the wheels, the worse it gets. My first ever XR2 was terrible for it, light car, big fat wheels................
Gosh those were the days......1980's..........I had hair and everything!

Hold the wheel firmer, it's all part of deploying beans in a front-driver.
