Want to replace foglight...

Do I really have to take bumper off just to fit new fog lamp? seems a long thing for something that should be simple?

If you undo the wheel arch on either side you can pull the bumper out from the top enough so that you can gain access to the foglights without taking it completely off.

I swapped mine on my last 172 without taking the bumper off

^ how did you do that James? jack it up and get underneath? It looks really close to belts, RH one

Jack it up, remove wheel, take arch liner out, then use a bit of guess work to guide a socket onto the bolts.

It was 5 years ago I last did it, but 100% didn't take the bumper off and did it from the wheel arch
