warning light after fitment of my IK

Ok eventually my IK has come. Its a pipercross and we fitted it as per the instructions. Now there is a warning light on (ignition one i think) and its hard to start! We had to unclip a sensor cud this be it? (well i know it is but do i need to be bothered about it?)

or cant u cos of the I/K ?.....

i cant use it on the IK!

What did the sensor used to do? Can you fool it, by sticking it close to the IK?
