Warning Light Question

Driving along yesterday and the SERV light came on with another light which is a triangle with a picture of a car with 2 wriggly lines underneath in the middle of the triangle.

When I started the car this morning the lights didnt appear?

Any idea what this means?

It could be traction control or ABS,

I've seen that symbol used for both of them on other makes

I had the same thing happen trying to get up a very icey hill last Feb :S
When I eventually got to the top I switched the engine off and on again and it's never happened again since so I wouldn'y worry about it.

I just put it down to my poor little car getting very confused trying to grip in the snow!

Probably brake pedal switch, do a search for it.

Did it come on after a long journey/motorway driving?

No happened during a short journey.

To be honest, like what S6 EMY it happened and when I started the engine again it never showed up.
