Warning light..

Had a warning light appear this evening as I was driving in the lovely torrential rain we seem to be having at the moment.

The manual says its the toxic fumes something or other (orange tap, bottom right of instrument panel)

Any ideas as to what it could be, before I go and bother my mechanic?

car still run ok? normally to do with oxygen sensor throttle body or knock sensor

Running fine. It did start up a bit lumpy a few times. Had to rev it hard to get the revs to rev freely but now its fine... still got this light though

Keep your eye on it but if you start getting a misfire or lumpy idle its probaly coil pack - seems to be quite a common fault - I had myself recently.

It's alright now. Started the car this morning and no lumpy idle or light

Keep an eye on it though - mine was intermittent aswell

I had it randomly come on twice in my old 1.2, just restarted the engine and the light went out both times. Just put it down to a quirk, never had any problems.
