Whilst driving to work the other day I noticed that in the lower revs of ech gear the car seemed to be shaking quite a bit but once the revs picked up it was fine.
This was all ok until eventuall the emissions warning light on the rev counter started flashing and suddenly there is hardly any power to my car.
I have phoned the dealer and they have said I need to take it in for a diagnostic check.
I also have just had the timing belt replaced about a month ago.
Does anyone have any ides what this could be - is there a chance it could be something to do with the timing belt not being tensioned properly?
How much is a diagnostic check?
