'Warning Monitor Exhuast Gas' light help

Today the light for 'Warning Monitor Exhuast Gas' has come on, on my dash. Ive had a look in the book and it doesnt say a great deal about it. Can someone tell me what it means and what i should do? ... i dont like all this electricalness

i've got the same problem, not sure how to sort it or what it means tho my service light is also constantly on!! does anyone else have the service light problem ? dont mean to change the subject or anythin

Lol my SERV lights also stays on but i had it plugged in to the diagnostics and they said it was my brake light sensor even though the brake lights and everything still work prefectly

oh rite, i've been told its a dodgy connection under the drivers seat :S not too sure about that! has ur car been drivin different since ur " warning monitor exhaust " came on ? mine doesn't seem to be different....:S

I didnt realise the dynamique had a dual lambda setup but obviously it does.

Are you getting fairly poor MPG too?
I'd recommend changing your upstream lambda.

mine came on but went off by its self about a week later

Nope the mpg is the same mate :s

and i havent driven it since the light has been on yet but i will later on

doubt it. Dont see any reason why they should be related

Ive had the same problem with my 182 cup. The light has been on for about 6 weeks now (2000+ miles) and i have noticed no difference in either performance or economy. I will be booking the car in at KTR for its 36k service soon - ill let you know what they say...

take the clocks out and remove the little smd. problem will never return!
