Warranty issues

Does any modification mean the warrantys void? Or is it just engine stuff?

I have saved up enough for wheels and suspension but i dont want to lose my 3 year warranty..especially on a french car which already stalls when cold, rain/light sensors dont work, warning lights flashed etc.

your best bet is to speak to either your local dealer or renault uk

there is still a lot of confusion over what invalidates your warranty

though im sure that wheels are ok (might possible invalidate the warranty on the driveshafts and other related parts - unless the same size as the original wheels)

Well i was thinking of getting the 16inch 172 wheels so fingers crossed theyll be ok. I need to go to my dealer at somepoint so ill ask.

I asked them about wheels. They said as long as they are a similar size/profile you will be okay. As for engine warrenty, if you change the filter/exhaust etc they told me that I wouldn;t be covered.

Basically they said if anything goes wrong with something that is linked to a change that you have made, then you will not be covered!
