Warranty question

Are shocker's covered by the full 3yr warranty? The reason i ask is that my 182 has a leaking rear shocker, and im sure i read somewhere they arent.The car is having its 1st MOT in a couple of weeks.
If it is im guessing im going to have to pay for the other one cos i dont just want one fitted.
On the other hand i might just buy a pair of after market ones.
Anyone reccomend aftermarket ones, and price?
Also price of renault ones.

I'd get the old fit for purpose going, i'd expect everything on a car to last 3 years/60k
