hi all! when your car is no longer in warranty obviously you have to pay to get the work fixed! but my question is this - if you had work carried out when the car was in warranty and the problem has reoccurred out of warrenty how long do you get?! (in other words they should have fixed the problem and its come back

And do you have to take it back to the same garage?!

dont they usually give 12 month warranty on repairs?

well as mine is the poverty spec cup i dont get that silly little cover on top of the engine! - the other month i had a small amount of oil laying on the top (common problem i see) anyway they fixed it all for me foc (in warrenty) and now i see last night when giving the car a clean laying in one of the other screws is some more oil dont know if its leaking - and it is in a different place :S

I thought with them going to all the trouble of having my car for 3 days taking all the top of the engine off etc they would have sorted this

im in two minds about just buying a bloody cover LOL! which doesnt solve the problem but at least i cant see the oil! (its only very tiny) and i know im a fussy sod! but i dont really want reno to start taking my engine apart again!

for all i know on my last ffs (x2) they might have had this problem too - but as they had the cover i never checked :S
