Warrenty

Dunno if this is in the right section but...
Can someone tell me what the warrenty is on my 172. Its a 52 plate and I have a few problems and want to know if any of them are eligable to be repaired under warrenty.

Trip computer resets itself and a bad leak which forms under the drivers seat.

its probably out of warrenty, usually only 3 years

Damn!! Its going to renault on monday for the leak looking at. Any ideas of how much they will sting me!!????

Theres a leak inside the car, waters getting in from somewhere and settling under the drivers seats in a big puddle!!

that'll either be the rubber plugs under the car covering the nuts that hold the seat in, or it'll be the rear window leaking

Funny you should say the rear window!! had one fitted about 3months ago, just bout a week before I got it! Please please let it be that!!! itl save me so much cash!!! how can I tell if its that? The rain last nite just basicly flooded the car. Its spread to the drivers foot well now!

FOUND IT!!!!! I took the plastic quarter panel trim off the inside and got a hose pipe on it. It was leeking from the quarter panel moulding (the little plastic trim that continues from the door moulding). Cant believe how s**t that design is! Theres big holes for the moulding to slide into and no rubbers etc in the holes, so the water just leaks trough! I just sealed the moulding on from the inside and covered any holes behind the moulding with sealant!! That should stop the bastid!! Hope so anyway! Il have to ring renault dealers on monday n tell them the good news! lol :rasp: Anybody had this problem before?????

i know where you mean, you get the odd drizzle, but not a leak as such

i'd still check the rear window, a lot of cups leak there

the back window or the rear window on the drivers side? I cant see how it could be the back window.

They can also leak from the black grommets next to the tail lights .

the rear drivers side window, not the rear screen, renault forgot to put sealant on the whole way round

Well I did check it but I suppose I didnt really look at the back window that much as I just saw it pissing in from the moulding so I thought id got it. I better re check it tomorrow. And il check that grommit in the boot. Any other places whilst im at it? by the way cheers for all the help guys, really appreciate it!!! saving me £££££s if I can get it sorted.
