washing my car help!?

hello. my clio need a good wash and i want it to shine etc...also alloys needs cleaning

whats the best stuff to use and how to go about it!

ive only ever done it with car shampoo with a sponge and it only gives a basic wash...i want a real good wash!

And defo get rid of the sponge and get a lambswool mitt.
Any autoglym product from halfords will be good.

Sponge should only be used for, sills, arches and rear of alloys.
