Im new to the forum. I have owned my wonderful 172 Cup from new for 16 months....although I came incredibly close to wasting it into the side of a tractor-trailer last week!! It all started with a Citroen C3 driver who was driving slowly (well, slower than I wanted to anyway) down this country lane. So, naturally I call up some reserve torque and overtake. Then, he decides that he wants to go faster too and tries to keep up (funny how this happens quite alot?) So I start to push it around the corners and put a bit of space between our cars - then I come around another bend at speed and a tractor with trailer is just pulling out from a field onto the road - completely blocking both lanes! I stopped literally about a metre from the tractor. I now love my brakes. Im seriously considering getting bigger ones now!!
