Water Boiling over

Hello,I recently changed the radiator in my clio. I have oil in the coolant possibly due to the headgasket although I just changed the thermostat housing gasket because it was pretty bad, Im not sure if this has cured it yet I haven't flushed it although im still getting oil on the cap maybe from the lines though.

Anyways my coolant is boiling over and my temp gauge ALWAYS sits just over half when warm. I think maybe its faulty ?
Any input is appreciated.

Do you have a photo of where it sits?

They all sit at the very top of the half way marker rather than in the middle of it.

My temp gauge sits just over the half way mark. I think maybe it's faulty because this is where it always sits when the car is warm.
