Water leak!!

Hi, i have got water leaking into me 172 somewhere just wondering if anyone has had similar problems and if they knew where it is likely to be coming in or any solutions to fixing it.

Where's it in the car? I had it in the passenger footwell. Half a bucket full.

All the floor is wet, when it first started think i took out about the same amount, probably drivers side footwell is slightly worst. Also lot of condensation on windows and now in cold weather getting ice on inside of windows, condensation probably been caused by wet floor though. Also sometimes during/after really heavy rain you can hear water rushing back and forwards when you accelerate or brake from underneath the floor.

Same haha mines In the drivers footwell and under the seat I think in the end it was a blocked drainage hole under the scuttle panel and it was leaking in thought the broken air recycle thing haha I hope this helps

Also sometimes during/after really heavy rain you can hear water rushing back and forwards when you accelerate or brake from underneath the floor.

That sounds like water is trapped inside the sills - a very common problem on the Mk1 clio's

It's because the scuttle drains are blocked.
