Water pump - cost

Ive been putting it off but I need to change my leaking water pump.

Can anyone whos had this job done tell me how much it cost them and what kind of labour time to expect?

£40 from Autoparts (offical Ren one) - part only

£14.99 from Autoparts (patent part) - part only (probably made in same factory)



No idea on labour, Im doing mine myself, do a search on here. You can do it without taking the belt off, you undo the outside and slip it out...

I was thinking about doing it myself but not too confident. Is it the kind of job you can do on the driveway in a few hours or is it something that could take a while? The most complicated job Ive done so far is change the heater matrix and that was a nightmare.

When are you planning on doing yours Nick? Youll have to let me know how it goes.
