Anyone had any dealings with them? My cup has been up for sale all summer and had no luck with it, so thinking of just offloading it to this company.

A dealer offered me £4k trade in, but im not ready to get another car yet. I got a quote of £3760 from we buy any car that im thinking of accepting.

its a 2003 172 cup in really good condition with 51k on the clock.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

i was going to sell the punto to them as they offererd me a reasonable price, but the quote ran out, by literally 1 or 2 days, they reduced the offer by over a grand so didnt touch them.

I got a quote for my g/f's last car (Corsa "C" SXi) from them.

When we turned up the guy checked the car over and knocked £400 off the e-mailed quote due to an aftermarket backbox and clear rear light clusters as they only want standard cars. (I'm sure the clear rear clusters were a Vauxhall part as there are also smoked ones aswell as normal ones)

Anyway, if your car is standard and in good nick it'd be worth your while.

I wouldn't mate, they offerd me £1450 for my 2001 206 gti last month, i sold it last week private for £2400 without tax!

Just lower the price and sell it private

when i had my ff they offered me 2850 with a dealer at the time offered 4400

just lower the price and maybe think about rewording you ad? i haven't seen yours but just a thought

I do not think £3760 is that bad tbh.

I just bought a 2003, 172, FRSH, 1 owner, 36k for £3,600. It does need a cambelt and service mind which is setting me back £600 but if yours needs the same I think £3,760 is ok if you NEED to get rid.

Depends how desperate you are to be honest.

They're going to offer a low price so they can make a profit.

Personally, I would only use them if I needed to get rid of a car straight away.

if they offer me anyhting less than the quote, im walking away. the cars been up for sale all summer and the only interest i hvae had is from folk wanting to part exchange.

im wondering if the cat back exhaust is going to make a difference base don the comments above.

my bro got a "quote" that wasnt to bad, then when they saw the car (it was mint) they said "this and that" and offerd 1.5K less for it, luckly it was only a hours drive but i can see many driving to see them. getting a poor value then thinking "id better take it"

Thats not a bad price (if they stick by it on viewing). I've just got an 05 182FF privately for not a lot more then that. Obviously they'll be adding at least £1k when they sell it on.

I'd only go to them or a garage if you're needing a quick sale mate. Out of interest, what have you advertised it for privately all summer long?

I'd imagine if you ask £4k for it, give it a nice clean and make a good qality advert, it'll be sold within a week or two.

Although, I could be totally, unequivocally wrong.

Not that I cared much anyway but they more or less knew once I was there they could offer what they wanted and I wouldn't be arsed to take the car home with me. Made up some s**t about accident damage it never had but I couldn't be bothered to argue.
