Should be installing this over the weekend at some point. Unfortunately, not into my PC however.... :(

Being connected to three 27" Iiyama screens too, so hopefully it will look pretty impressive!

Never really understood the need for semi-naked people/slightly homo-erotic pictures on gfx cards?! :S

I'm really keen to see what 3DMark2011 kicks out in terms of score with this. I suspect the entry-level i7 CPU powering it, will actually be the limiting factor...

Was this for your nephew or something? Think I remember the thread. Gainward are such good value for money with their cards, although personally I still like XFX :)

That's the one. :)

He's currently rolling on a 26" Iiyama with a GTX275 in there. I think there will be a bit of a difference.... :approve:

Good man! Nearly as quick as 580 SLI ;)

Much cheaper though, so fair play. Glad to see you've finally started getting some decent equipment.

It's not mine though m8! More's he pity..... :(

Haha! 3DMark2011 is clearly talking pap. It was just over 8,000 marks where my SLi'd GTX460s managed 6,500. Yet in Graphics Test 4 (along with others) the fps score was at least three times higher than mine - sometimes 3.5. I have a slightly better i7 CPU, but it would account for such a low score by the 3DMark demo.

Anyways - in real-terms, it was fecking impressive. Much, much smoother on the 3DMark demo than mine. God knows what two of these in SLi would be like! Very quiet too, given how potent the card is....

I really did think that the edges of the screens would intrude too much on what you can see. However, a bit like A-pillars in a car when you're driving - you tend to look past them without realising it.

Tasty, imo...

Been looking to go triple monitor myself. Should be able to sort it around Christmas.

Just trying to decide on monitors now. Think I am going to go back to Nvidia cards, too many issues with the ATI drivers. So think a 600 Series card when they are released is what will be getting purchased. It is the monitors I am having trouble with.

Do I get three Dell Ultrasharps or do I get three 3d Monitors with TN panels.

I'm dual wielding GTX580s. Baller spec graphics.

ATI is pauper-spec these days. Has been ever since the mighty 9800Pro.

F*ck off! 9800Pro was baller!

Upgraded mine to a NV 6800Ultra when Doom 3 came out. Noisiest graphics card I've ever owned.

  Evo 5 RS
9800XT is basically the same ffs lol. Plus it came out like almost a year on.

Unlike the X800 Pro and X800 XT which were launched at the same time. (I used to work in the industry, I hate myself for knowing half of it)

  Monaro VXR
I used to run a 9800Pro which I upgraded the cooler on and stuck the XT bios on. Think I dumped that in the end for a 7800GTX 512.

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
I don't know whether to bother overclocking my 580s, they run very comfortably under water.

Mine roll on air, but they're non-reference and are quiet as f**k anyway. Don't yet feel a need to overclock them. Pretty sure they were shipped slightly above stock anyway actually.

  Evo 5 RS
GPU overclocking is a waste of time - especially with NV. Very little tolerance in recent years.. Mainly the RAM that folds
