- webber 45’s

  Gay Clio 172 phs1

Has anybody scrapped the injection system off their valver/williams and replaced it with a lovely set of webber 45s?

Just curious as it might be worth looking into, then again it might not.

if this was in the mech section........tut tut

But if you do a search, weve talked about it.

No point, reverting to low pressure fuel system, lack of tractability, induction of hot air if not sorted properly, lack of space so short runner length (you cant mount DOCEs more than 12 deg due to the float chambers), keeping them in tune is a nightmare sometimes, then you have to sort the ignition, well, just run the ECU to control that.

Not worth it.

Cheers ben, I knew the space, heat and position would be a major problem but you cant beat the sound / performance of a set of webbers growling away :(
