Just putting together a small site using moonfruit and was wondering what the ideal width would be?

Google search comes up with so many answers so thought I would ask in here!

IT's up to you how brave you are really. 85% of people are using displays higher than 1024, so from that you can assume that if you design one to that size you'll only piss off 15% of internet users.

Saying that though, if it's a responsive site it doesn't really matter as it'll display correctly at any resolution.

Will try 960 and go from there. Will see how it displays on pc and laptop as they are different resolutions.
