Weight of a 15" TD Pro Race 1.2.

  BMW M6 & 172 Phase 1
K-Tec and a few other online sources I found say 6.9Kg (15.1 lbs)

I assume the 3 sets might mean slicks? :)

Dave, where did you get that PR 1.2 weight from? Everywhere I've seen says 6.9kg, the PR 1 was 6.2kg I think.

2118's are 9.6kg I beleive.

Nick, would love to start racing at some point, might need to make room for a trophy cabinet first though ;)

Seriously though, I'll be bearing it in mind.

What about OZ Supers or Ultras? Around 5kgs aren't they?

I'm a little surprised 1.2s are so commonly used in racing, they're quite brittle, my mate went over a pothole last year and cracked large enough to see daylight between the rim and the spoke! I'll see if I can find the pic.

Cheers for the info chaps!

Tbf with any wheel there's always potential for cracks/bends unless you spend thousands, so at least if I bend a sub £100 wheel its better than bending one like a OZ Super/Ultraleggera thats worth £250 plus!

Im sure also that rimstyle would give a pretty good discount on 3 sets on one order! ;)
