Anyone know what it is? Part of the engine block behind the crank pulley?

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
Should say I meant behind the crank pulley by the way. Is there like a casing or guide that the pulley sits in that this could have come from?

  Cup In bits
Its not long broken whatever it is, can't imagine anything coming from behing the pulley its just your block. Do you have pictures of where it was pulled from?

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
No pictures of that but it was sat behind the crank pulley, sitting at the bottom being pinned against the pulley and the block/sump. Hence the metallic rattling noise

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
It looks like it was part of something that had a radius to it, something circular or semi circular. Maybe some sort of bracketery? Engine mount looks fine

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
No idea mate not familiar with this engine. It's very thin metal. Car seems to run ok? Haven't checked the belt though

  Cup In bits
All the pulleys fine? Lower arch liners fitted and so on. It looks like its broken off whatever then been caught and bent over as there looks to be stress lines in 1st and 3rd pic.
