i think you are under charging for a skilled job ,to be done correctly and warrantied , considering what people who dont know what they doing will charge more , and probably f**k it up.
also , im pretty sure the job would have been for more than just a cambelt change , ? or is that all they say it was.

For £1200 I'd stick my car on a low loader, send it to somewhere reasonable, and have it delivered safely back to my house, and have a shed load of change left over. and some people are mugs.

really...ok the mechanic is a old friend and charge me 15-20 euros per hour, but with 200 euros of material bought from k-tec i didn't spend more than 250 euros.
