So... took my car into the garage on monday for a new wheel bearing, cost £60 sorted. Drove away and another wheel bearing was still whining.
So I took my car to the garage today at 9:00am to have the other one fixed, they said it would be £40-£50 and ill have it back before dinner (1:00pm). So I went back up at bout 1:30 and it still wasn't quite finished. They told me to come back for 5:00pm so they can make sure everything is ok. Not a problem
So i walked up from work at 5:00pm and it was all finished. Got the bill which was in fact was £60, paid and left only to notice the centre cap was missing on the wheel.
Told them and they just shrugged there shoulders and said it must of come off when they were testing it on the road. Even I can put a bloody centre cap on without it falling off so why can't a proper machanic?
He's going to look for it but said if he couldn't find it he'll order me a new one which is going to stick out like a saw thumb.
