Well my car came back yesterday...

...After 91 days my car finally came back from Admirals Approved Bodyshop Elite Bodycraft. I'm not going to comment on the faults the car had on a public forum until they've been rectified, but its fair to say that it wasnt acceptable for anybody, so especially not myself who is a bit of a perfectionist.

After an absolute arse about face scenario in the morning, where the delivery driver was given my old address, i eventually met my car and it didnt even come off the truck. I've now given them 7 days to fix my car, and if it isnt done then it shall be going to my local main dealer and will be repaired at Admirals expense.

I am also waiting for it all to be finalised before i start my legal proceedings against them, as it should be mentioned that i only have a 300day policy with admiral, and they have had my car for almost 1/3 of that time.

All in all, not happy at the mo.

I'm glad your not losing your head tho and taking the proper procedures to sort it out.

When I had my car repaired after an accident I kept finding faults, so kept going back and getting them to fix it.

Hope you get what you should have recived 3 months ago.

Mechanically it does seem to be fine. Correct air filter/ ducting etc.etc. but my issues lie with the bodywork which has been rushed, to put it politely. I rung the bodyshop when i'd calmed down and i didnt even have to tell them, as they already knew - which infuriated me - as they knowingly sent it to me looking like a sack of s**t.

thanks for the support guys, admiral have already told me i'm getting compensation, so i'm gonna wait to see what they offer first. Worked out that its cost me over a grand in lost insurance etc etc

well still not got it back, as we're having discussions over some of the rectification work. but the car went to the bodyshop, at most, 2 weeks after the crash. so they've had it for the vast period

Im personally collecting it on tuesday. If its still not done and fixed to a excellent standard i'm going to call the police and do them for stealing my car! If they offer me a penny less than what i calculated i should be getting for compensation, i shall be sueing them straight away. Already warned him i took on renault and won
