Wet nos kit on 1.2 16v?

i know this might sound mad, but i was wondering if you could have a wet nos kit (on a low setting) fitted to a 1.2 16v, just for the occasional 1/4 mile, without blowing it to pieces??:S

as edde said 25bhp is a safe ammount but you could probably get away with 50bhp

im sure i remember 16v_jon saying he payed £800 for the full kit fitted?

Its fully road legal you realy should have a ticker showing its got a bottle but apart from that its legal.

Insurance can be very difficult.

i'd say just use a dry system and 25bhp shot as internals probably wont cope with 50bhp shots goin in for long but sayng that 1.2 engines are sh*t cheap on ebay

i had 50bhp jets on my clio 16v, never had any problems, had to uprate ny clutch that was all, still the kit at home, one day it will find itself onto the williams:race:

Yes - i would use a 25bhp jet, a digimax progressive controller and i would also run a seperate ECU that can be mapped to provide the correct fuel / air mixture.

Is it worth it? Ehhh....no.

If you are going to fork out for more insurance and the kit, would it not be easier just to buy an already faster car?

but it would be fun to shock a few unsuspecting people:)
there was a race i saw between a 1.2 clio and a 1.6 meg and the clio had it to start but by about 8-10 secs the meg took off.
i wonder with the nos could the clio win??

even diesel automatics can have them i saw a 1.9 diesel golf keep up with a 280bhp car but the other car took it in the end.
