What a push!!!!!!

I was driving arund my town centre an stopped at the light's going out of town towards the countryside, I booted it from the light's an as i changed from 2nd to 3rd at 70mph the car just pushed forward sharper than it ever had before it went into light speed for all of 2 secs does this mean my car is getting quicker with age or what i found it very weird, is there any reasoning behind this or was it a decent gear change.


Anyone else experienced this.

Cleaning the inlet raises the rev limiter does it? :rasp: Or maybe it makes the gears longer. :clown:
