what brakes are the best??

hey im looking to buy brakes for my 1.8 16v mk1, want them big but how much would i be looking at and what are the best?

Do you want big brakes like the ktec big brakes kit ? I don't rate the ktec kit very hightly stock or sotck disks and Ds2500 are more than you'd ever realy need.

For what the big brakes kit or ds2500's?

Wilwood do 4-pot midilite calipers, and you can get them in a kit with 300mm discs, and then Poly E pads. But, your looking at around about £500 - £600. They are for the Williams, but apparently they'll fit the Valver. Which they should, saying as they use the same brakes.
