hi guys i have a 2.0 172 2002 ,my friend has a 2004 mini copper s .last nyt we was bord and at a local drag strip .i beat him 2 out of 3 .

just wondering what other cars we can keep up or win with ,.,.:nono:

so instead of saying "Oh a 172 or 182..."

you say " a 1*2"

buy a copy of what car and have a look through the back pages they list most new cars and there 0-60 times, its tricky to find any comprehensive info on older cars 0-60 without searching for each one and even then the info you find maybe erroneous i.e. ek9 type r 0-60

Avit there are lots of terms we come to accept as normal speak iirc means if i remember correctly (for example) also buzz words like v-tec and twisties can be dropped into any sentence to punch them up lol

got it dude lol bdw im totaly new to the hole web site tbh i joined when i had a 1.2 then got a bmw now got a clio again so using the site again

as a general rule i like to think any naturally aspirated 2 litre lump in a larger car will be slower than a 172/182 and bearing in mind the clio is a small car there arnt many 2 ;itres that will out right beat the clio but there are exceptions to ever rule

race base b ek9 civic type r is a beast!! 1.6 litre 0-60 5.7 seconds :S

i go brands hatch all the time santer pod aswell ..,i also go to the top gear race track some times when they leave the gate open we drive over the fild on to it ,.,. and last nyt was on a privet road
