What Car Next

Hey all, just wondered what everyone would reccomend as a 2nd car. only being 18 with 1 years no claims discount, insurance is an issue. but money is not much of an issue, obviously nothin £15k+!! but am currently drivin a 1.4RT, and need somethin quicker to keep up with my mates!

Only group 12.. altho, I only started getting decent quotes at 20..

Do a few quotes.. maybe on a Williams too (altho, thats group 17)

Insurance would be more than 1k less than 1.5k well thats what danny off here pays he has 1 yr NCB though....how about a 2.0 valver!

hey, thanks for the replies, i dont really want to pay over £2.5k for insurance, but i do really want somethin that is quick, but not too quick that ill kill myself, lol! really like valvers but im not sure if i want something with such high miles. thought maybe a new corsa 1.8sri... or something along those line??

yeah heard good and bad stories about corsas, look very nice though! really dont want to be throwin all my money into maintenance of an older car, but yeah, the valver is very very tempting!!

Ask yourself.. would the amount youd spend maintaining an older car be more than the cost of having a new car? (loans, finance whatever..)

The new corsa would be pants! The money you pay maintaining a 16v would be no-where near the depriciation on a new car. I you want something newer why not go for a 106 gti/306 gti-6?

yeah, 106gtis are very nice, but my mate is gettin one, so think it is goin to be a valver, cheers for the help!!

PS, which is quicker 106gti, or 1.8 16v clio? (sorry if its been asked already!)
