what cleaning products to get ???

ok well ive been looking into cleaning my car Properly for abit
as i use autoglym deepshine after ive cleaned it with a sponge but thats it i wanna do the full works .

shampoo
detail clay
polish
sealant
Wax

think thats right order lol so was looking on www.i4detailing.co.uk
and looked at these products. now i dont no if there what i need or maybe i dont need some off it ???anyways this is the list

Tropi-care Car Wash TC-6 Premium Car Wash
Meguiar's Mild Overspray Clay
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Pre-wax cleanser
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection High Gloss Protective Sealant
Dodo Juice Purple Haze (soft wax) or Dodo Juice Blue Velvet (hard wax)

right ok so would these products be ok or should i not mix brands ?? also whats best hard or soft wax ??or best to use ???

if this is completely wrong can some1 just tell me all the products that would be best to buy of the site lol

The Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection won't work over the Lime Prime.

You should either do Lime Prime and then the Wax or do Autoglym Super Resin Polish, Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection and then wax.

I prefer the Purple Haze.

Mixing and matching products is fine as long as they are done in the right order and don't have adverse effects on each other.

As Rich said ... but at this time of the year I would go down the sealant route (and therefore not get the Lime Prime) although wouldn't personally go for EGP if I was to choose just one sealant as I think there are better ones out there that are faster to use and look better for the same money.

SRP is a MUST in anyones collection though, from complete beginner to...well, Rich lol.

Sorry - SRP = Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Probably the best "off the shelf" detailing product you can get really.

Probably a better question is how much money and time you are willing to spend really...?

AG SRP is on special at the moment, 1litre bottle for the 500ml price.

May I also recommend Britemax #5 Extreme Elements - it’s an ultra durable polymer sealant designed to combat acid rain, salt water, bird dropping etc and is an ideal protection for this time of year.

Plan to go this route myself now that I've got my car back.
