What clio do I own

Hi all

this is my first post and i am very happy that i cam across your forum.
let me congratulate for the great job.

I am a Clio owner since 2007 but I have never figured our how the Clio naming is done and what model is mine.

I have a 1.4 RXE Clio of 1998
and i would be very grateful to anyone that will explain to me what the RXE means or how can i find what model do i have ( ie MK1, MK2 etc)

A 172 is a sport mate 2.0 16v a ph quick is just a slang name for it you have a

Mark 2 phase 1 1.4 spec'd as a rxe

Mark 1, 172 is very very rarely used. It's called that because it's the first renaultsport, but it is the second mark clio, if thats makes sense?
